OHCHR Submission: The Role of Media in the Context of Israel’s Policies and Practices Toward the Palestinian People, Especially After 7 October 2023

The British Palestinian Committee, in partnership with the researcher Ian Goodrich, have submitted a report to the UN OHCHR on the role of the media in the context of Israel’s policies and practices toward the Palestinian people. 

The purpose of this call for input was to inform a study on the killings and attacks against Palestinian journalists, media workers and their families and the role of media in the context of Israel’s policies and practices toward the Palestinian people, especially after 7 October 2023. This report was sent to Francesca Albanese, Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967.
