Who We Are
We are a group of British Palestinian citizens with experience in a range of professional fields including policy, advocacy, human rights, law, academia, journalism, arts and culture. Many of us also represent other organisations or constituencies concerned with the promotion of Palestinian rights.
We are an independent organisation that is not affiliated with any particular political party, religion, or ideology in Palestine or the UK. While we make no claim to represent British Palestinians as a whole, our members represent a broad and diverse range of British-Palestinian experiences and perspectives.
We believe that working collaboratively is essential to achieving our shared vision. We actively seek to align with and amplify the work of other organisations advocating for Palestinian rights, and those working towards social and political justice more broadly.
Core Principles
The BPC is committed to the fundamental principles of freedom, justice, and equality for all.
We uphold the core inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to self-determination and right of return to our historic homeland, and all associated rights enshrined within the various bodies of international law.
We understand the Palestinian cause as fundamentally a struggle against settler colonialism. We are in solidarity with movements across the world seeking to resist colonialism, racism, and other forms of structural injustice. We seek to work in partnership with those taking up the fight against hatred and discrimination, wherever they occur.
